Crux of the matter is adults can't relate to children and children can't relate to adults, is there a middle ground? Which also poses the question, are children watching this? Are the parents? It's entertaining, sure, but nobody would go out of their way to rewatch this—except me, I guess, for Brittany Snow. The eventual dynamics do endear you, but are otherwise framed and driven by dumbed down army glazing propaganda, that would go over the predicted audience's heads anyway.
